Moose
Lake Area, Minnesota A Triangular Shape Hovering And
Missing Time
| | Posted: March 13,
2007
Date: 2002 Time: 11:00 - 11:30 p.m.
I also wanted
to pass along another thing that happened to me in 2002. I was on my
way up to see a friend in Two Harbors, Mn. It was a Thursday night
and I left the house at 10:00 p.m. I was about an hour and a half
into the trip which put me up around the Moose Lake area. Being
11:30 p.m. on a Thursday night I was the only thing on the road. Up
in the distance I could see what I thought to be an emergency
vehicle on the shoulder. The closer I got I see it was up in the air
off past the fence running along the highway. The object was around
200 feet off the ground and was a triangle shape. It had a light on
each corner and they were alternating red, blue and green. There was
also a dome shaped thing on the bottom that was also lit up and
looked like mother of pearl. It looked like it was liquid and was
mixing or oozing around in there. |
Chililcothe Ohio Fireball/Meteor
Sighting (March 11, 2007)
| | Posted: March 13,
2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: Approx: 8:00
p.m.
Location of Sighting: US 23 North of Chililcothe Ohio
Looking North Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of
objects: Angular
Full Description of event/sighting: A large
bluish green light in an inverted 7 shape, with trails coming off
the main bottom edge and the tip of the top edge. Visible for about
3 seconds as it crossed the horizon in an arching west to east
trajectory about 30 degrees above horizontal. I called into WTVN 610
in Columbus OH. By ten o'clock they had received reports from just
south of Columbus, Prospect Ohio and Marion Ohio all reporting that
the object was just to the north of the sighting point. This taken
in consideration along with the sighting reported on your web site
as north of Canton would mean that I was seeing what appeared to be
a rather large was either 100 miles away or was one of multiple
meteors at the same time. |
Coshocton, Ohio An Orange Boomerang
Shaped Object
| | Posted: March 13,

Date: July 18, 2003 Time: 12:45 a.m.
Location of
Sighting: Kensington Rd. Coshocton, OH (Ma & Pa) Number of
witnesses: 1 Number of objects: ? Shape of objects: Looked like
stars (all except first)
Full Description of event/sighting:
Ok. I tried to report this when it happened to 5 different sites and
MUFON was the only one that worked. I have been on www.rense.com for
years now so this is the truth so why not add it to your database?
I have always been interested in weird things (paranormal)
and I am a normal college student about to graduate in June with a
BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Ohio State and I just want
everyone to know the truth.
On the early morning of July 18,
2003 at 12:45am I stepped out the back door of my parents to smoke a
cigarette. I was a two pack a day smoker at the time. I felt a
premonition to turn around and look over the door, over the roof,
over the house. This was 4 years ago but I remember it very clearly.

Lagrange, Illinois Fireball/Meteor
Sighting (March 11, 2007)
| | Posted: March 13,
2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: Around 7:00 p.m., not
sure.
Location of Sighting: Cermak and 1st Ave, Lagrange
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects:
Circle.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving
east on Cermak and I was looking straight ahead and saw a yellow
circle like object fly from north to south on a little bit of a
downward angle. It had a yellow tail, and disappeared after about 2
seconds. Right away I thought, it was a UFO, because I always had
wanted to see one, but then I gave it some more thought and said
maybe it was a meteor or something like that. As it was flying from
north to south (looking at it from my view that would have been left
to right). It seemed to be really bright and flashy. I knew I saw
maybe like an outer ring of yellow around the main ball of yellow. I
believe that is it. |
Central Michigan Fireball/Meteor
Sighting (March 11, 2007)
| | Posted: March 13,
2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: Approx: After 8:00
p.m.
Hi, I believe my kids saw the meteor that you were
referring to on the hbcc website. We are in the Central Michigan
area, and on the evening of March 11 they came running into the
house excited because they had seen a shooting star. My 4 year old
spotted it first and had time to alert my 9 year old, who also saw
it, and reported that there was a trail of "stars" behind it. I
don't recall exactly what time it occurred but it was still very
light out...at first I didn't believe them, but when I looked, there
were a couple of stars visible, and their description did not seem
too fantastic to believe. I hope this is helpful.

Sighting (March 11, 2007)

2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: Approx: 7:30
p.m.
Message: On March 11, 2007, I was driving with my
daughter on French Road in Amherst, New York about 7:30pm. All of a
sudden in the sky in front of us it looked like a meteor or comet.
At first I thought it might be a small plane on fire, but then
looked more like a meteor. It was round with a tail that look like
it was on fire. I am glad that my daughter also saw it, because I do
not think anyone would believe me. We live very near to Canada.

Thornton, Ontario Object Was Bright
Like A Reflection
| | Posted:
March 13, 2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: 1:00
p.m.
Location of Sighting: Thornton approx N 44° 15.927 W 79°
46.148 Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects:
Light
Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving
southbound on the 9th line and saw what I thought to be a plane in
the sky. It was bright like a reflection, I thought little of it
other then it was interesting to see a plane flying low on a
parallel trajectory to me.
I continued to drive for about 10
seconds and the plane completely disappeared. I looked around for it
but could see not a single trace, despite being surrounded by farm
land, and a clear blue sky.
I only thought about it later
today after hearing the reports of the fireballs over the 401 (but
my sighting was at a different time) |
Redondo Beach, California Light Grows
Brighter Then Dims
| | Posted: March 13,
2007
Date: March 12, 2007 Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location of
Sighting: Overhead, looking north. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of
objects: 1 Shape of objects: Pinpoint.
Full Description of
event/sighting: While throwing the football in my backyard, I
noticed a point of light in the sky that became much brighter. At
least as bright as Sirius and then faded and disappeared,
completely. The whole duration was not more than a minute, at the
very most. Perhaps coincidentally, a plane was flying in the same
area at the same time (heading north and at an altitude of several
tens of thousands of feet). I'm not sure if the pinpoint of light
was directly in line with the plane, but I did notice the plane
shortly after I noticed the light. |
Sarnia, Ontario Fireball/Meteor
Sighting (March 11, 2007)
| | Posted:
March 12, 2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: Approx: 7:55
p.m.
Message: I saw the meteor in Sarnia, ON on March 11,
2007 approx. at 7:55 pm. I was driving south and seen it travel
north to south on right (west) side. I only seen for a few seconds.
It was very bright red and orange ball with long tail. I didn't see
any green as other reports indicated. It disappeared very quickly. I
seen a confirmed meteor approx. 8 years ago. That one was very
yellowish with green and blue tail. Yesterday meteor seem to be
moving alot quicker and seem closer than the one I seen in the past.
Could the colours indicate distance as to wavelength spectrums? I
have seen shooting star and this was no star. The sky was still
pretty bright at that time. You can call be crazy but I swear I
heard it bang (high pitch sound) when it disappeared so quickly. Did
anybody else hear or feel that experience. Thanks.
Thank you
to the witness for their report. |

Western Maine Unusual Ball Of
Fluorescent Light Travels Through The Forest
| | Posted: March 12,
2007
Greetings Brian : Thanks for your reply and valued
opinions. I am a retired scientist and during my long camping trips
in a remote area of western Maine, I like to read about natural
science and try to put the pieces together. My son and I were on a
trip about 25 years ago at that location during the winter. On a
cold still night, we went for a walk after supper and as we walked
down the road, a ball of fluorescent light, maybe 2 feet in
diameter, crossed our path about 30 feet away. We were both quite
surprised and watched it move off into the forest. We immediately
looked for any signs in the fresh snow but found nothing. We
proceeded down the road for a while, then turned to return.

Tecopa California (Death Valley) Saucer

Number of
witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects:
Sphere.
Full Description of event/sighting: It was my
birthday on Jan 11, of this year 2007. I went to the hot springs
that I go to every other week or so. Me and a friend went to get
away for the day. Tecopa is about 100 miles South West of Area 51,
30 miles South East of Ft. Irwin military base, 100 miles East of
China Lake Naval Weapons Facility, and about 20 miles from Wingate
Pass. All of these locations to my belief have UFO activity. Our
conversations were about beliefs most of the night and to an
alarming extent. The population of Tecopa is around 100 people I
believe. When we pulled out of the resort, at a time when everyone
and everything is still and quiet, we drove about 200 yards and
stopped in front of the community center next to the RV park. On the
side of the building there was an orb or ship spherical in shape but
saucer shaped. |

Date: March 11, 2007 Time: Between 7:55 p.m.
and 8:00 p.m. (Approx:)
Message: I saw this object shoot
across the sky, it had a green tail. It only lasted a couple
seconds, but it seemed as though the closer it got to earth the
smaller it got, then it looked like it exploded in mid air. It
freaked me out, but I'm being told it was only a meteor and this
happens every hundred years or so. Do you think this was a UFO?
That's what I thought at first!
Additional
Information:
It was probably between 7:55pm and 8:00pm on
March 11,2007, and I was driving home on Hwy 403 about the get off
on the Erin Mills Pkwy cut off (that's in Mississauga, ON, Canada)
and it happened right in front of me. It might have been a meteor,
but why was the tail green and why did it explode, or seem to
explode. |

2007)
| | Posted: March 12,
2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: Approx: 8:00 - 8:03
p.m.
Hello, I was traveling North on I-77 on the North end of
Canton, Ohio approximately 8:00 - 8:03 pm Sunday, March 11, 2007
when I glanced West-Northwest towards Detroit, MI direction when I
saw the meteor.
It was heading almost straight down in the
horizon of my windshield. It was a very bright white light, almost a
bluish/greenish tint. It had several other smaller meteor particles
following it. It was the largest meteor I had ever seen, in person
or in pictures.
It looked like the aftermath of a single,
large firework display. The person I was traveling with (the driver)
was not paying attention. She said it was just light reflections but
I swear it was a meteor or an asteroid. |
Canberra ACT Australia A White Light
Moving Upwards
| | Posted:
March 12, 2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: 9:45
p.m.
Approach Direction: Travel N NW gaining altitude
Departure Direction: N NW Witness Direction: North
West.
Description: I was looking up at the night sky which
was amazingly clear and cloud-free and noticed a far away white
light moving upwards. It was only visible for a couple of seconds
and vanished.
Then a second or two later a little to the
right a white light glowed, grew larger and larger and then
disappeared. It was the type of light I would expect to see if it
was a comet coming directly towards me, therefore no trail. But it
got me excited enough to stay outside for the next half hour while
the kids put themselves to bed!
Color/Shape: The first
sighting was a tiny white light moving upwards and fading away. It
was only visible for a couple of seconds. It was about a 45 degree
angle and traveled upwards to say 50 degrees over a second or two
before disappearing. |

Last night
heading south on I-75. The meteor fell about 500 feet from my car
almost next to me as it came to the ground, just to my left a bit in
front. It was 8:03 pm, 47 degrees and about 1 mile before the
Flushing exit off of I-75 south to the east of me and seemed to be
going towards be as it landed. It was very close to the
highway.
I went to Google earth last night trying to figure
out where exactly it was. I think it was near the body of water but
can't be sure. Or the subdivision that in the shape of a circle. It
was beautiful, a fire ball from the sky.
From my report it
did get brighter and brighter, and was larger than a softball. It
did go out just before it hit down, but it was very close to the
ground before it did. |

March 11, 2007 Meteor Sighting while driving on NYS
Thruway
My boyfriend and I were driving back to Ontario,
Canada on the New York State Thruway - Westbound, between Rochester,
NY and Batavia, NY, when we spotted a large object falling from the
sky. It was about 8:00pm EST on Sunday, March 11, 2007. The object
was large, bright and it had an orange trail. My first thought was
that a small plane or helicopter was having a problem. My boyfriend
assured me that it was a falling star. It was the largest and
brightest falling star that either of us had ever seen. Thank you to

Sighting (March 11, 2007)

March 12, 2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: Approx: 7:20
p.m.
Saw a bright light in sky.
Brampton, ON. Me and
my family were traveling in car at about 7:20 pm on March 11,2007.
We saw a very bright light like sun. It traveled downwards on land
and was visible for only milliseconds. It was greenish very, very
bright in the center and a little greenish on sides and was very
bright. As it disappeared traveling downwards. The sky beginning
from land until half way the sky was greenish and bright and the sky
on opposite side was normal and black. Then we decided to turn in
light's direction. After some time we saw lights in the sky like a
plane. But it was much faster than plane and disappeared into the
sky. The sky on one side remained like that for about an hour. I was
surprised why anybody else didn't see it. And why it wasn't on news
instantly. Maybe because it was for milliseconds only.

dark, and to me, it looked like it went down not far from
me.
I saw it from Southwest Michigan. The thing I saw was
bright blue, and trailed off into orange. At the time I saw it, it
looked almost like a flare. And it looked to me like it went down in
a swampy area at the corner of a lake. It was flying on a North to
South route.

Bend, Indiana Triangle In The Sky For A Long
Time
| | Posted: March 12,
2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: Probably lasted from 8:00
-11:00 p.m.?
Location of Sighting: South Bend, IN Number of
witnesses: Many Number of objects: One for sure. Shape of objects:
From my eyes it was triangular shaped.
Full Description of
event/sighting: My sister came in telling me there was something in
the sky outside that a lot of people were staring at. I went out
there and there was a very bright triangular shape in the sky, it
looked pretty distance but it was very high up as well. It seemed to
start out really high in the sky and get lower and lower, very
slowly. We were looking at it through tree branches and it was
definitely moving around slowly. Due to us watching this and not our
cat, he got ran over and we were dealing with this and not paying
attention. I went back to look later and the UFO had moved south
east in the sky. I went back in for 10 minutes and came back out and
it was gone. It hovered for quite a while.

Indianapolis, Indiana A Bright Ball Of
Orange Fire

Date: March 11, 2007 Time: 1:35 a.m.
On March 11,
2007 at 1:35 am eastern time, in Indianapolis, Indiana, I was
looking up at the night sky near the dipper constellations and saw
what looked like a bright ball of orange fire appear out of nowhere
and shoot through the sky upwards in a diagonal direction and then
disappeared again in a matter of seconds. I have never seen anything
like it. I would really be interested in finding out how many other
people might have seen this on the same night, and if anyone has any
insight on what it might have been? Thanks.

Meteor Sighted By Witness Driving To
Toronto, Ontario (March 11, 2007)
| | Posted:
March 12, 2007
Date: March 11, 2007 Time: 8:00 p.m.
Hi
There, I saw the amazing show last night. I was driving into Toronto
last night (March 11, 2007) and the time was about 8:00 pm EST and
when I looked up to the west, I saw this object falling approx
towards the SW direction. It lasted for a few seconds and I was
startled, as I first thought it was a plane in trouble.
I
have seen "falling stars" before, but I have never seen one like
this: It had traces of green light, that changed to yellow, then
orange, before it disappeared...I wondered if the odd light
wavelengths indicated that it was "space junk" coming down, instead
of a meteor ! Thanks.
Thank you to the witness for the
report. |

West Michigan (Newschannel 3) - A meteor lit up the
skies over West Michigan early Sunday evening. Planetarium Director,
Eric Schreur, who heads up the astronomy program at the Kalamazoo
Valley Museum says this was *not* a UFO.
He says it is
possible that it may have been space debris. If that's the case,
NASA and the Air Force would be monitoring that and would likely
have reports out about it.
We'll continue to follow the
story for you as we get more information about what exactly lit up
our evening skies Sunday night.
